About This Site
Welcome to Basecamp. I keep tons of open tabs on my safari between my computer and phone, have lists of lists in my Notes app, and struggle to track what I am reading and taking away. Basecamp Henry was built on the idea that I could create a one stop shop for all of these things that just lived on the web. The intent was to create a simple, well designed site that I could selectively share with others and aggregate my links and ideas over time. I can access it from anywhere in the world without needing to log into iCloud or have my notes in the cloud.
Technology
Built with Eleventy, a simple static site generator. Hosted on Netlify. Source code lives on GitHub. Built with Claude Code and some minimal human intervention.
Typography
Headlines are set in Fraunces by Undercase Type. Body text is set in DejaVu Serif.
Photography
Photos taken with a Ricoh GRIII or a slightly dinged up Canon Rebel film camera.
Inspiration
This site was inspired by the personal websites of Robin Sloan, Craig Mod, and Kevin Kelly.
